The Corrs는 고등학교 3학년때 뭔가 새롭게 마음을 둘 만한 노래들을 찾다가 정화누님 덕에 알게 된 그룹이다.
이름만 들어 알다가 우연히 새벽 MTV에서 Long Night라는 노래를 듣고 완전히 홀려서 =_= 본격적으로 좀 좋아해보자고 마음을 먹게 되었다.
당시는 아직 소리바다가 가끔 돌아가던 시기여서, 무작정 검색되는 노래를 마구 다운 받아서 바로 MP3플레이어에 넣어다가 하루종일 낯선 노래를 듣고 익히곤 했다.
그러다가 완전히 미쳐버린 곡이 몇개 정도 있는데, 그 중 하나가 이 Dreams다.
가사가 너무 뚜렷이 들린 탓일까. 야자하다가 메모장에 아무 생각없이 이 가사를 받아 적고 있는 나를 발견하곤했다.
2학기 이후로 또 한동안 찾지 않다가 최근에 다시 찾게 되었지만 역시 멋진 그룹이다 -_ㅜ
뭐랄까 마음에 청량감을 가져다주는 사운드라고 해야 할까 -
Nick Carter 앨범과는 달리 금속성이 전혀 느껴지지 않아서 편안한 느낌.
